Brusca von Retrosaria Rosa Pomar ist ein rasse- und herdenspezifisches Garn aus Portugal. Es besteht zu 50% aus Saloiawolle und zu 50% aus Merino (Merino Branco und Merino Preto).
Saloia ist eine einheimische Schafrasse der Region Lissabon und Setúbal, deren Bestehen bis ins 19. Jahrundert zurückverfolgt werden kann und deren Wolle als eine der feinsten in ganz Portugal galt. Saloiaschafe sind auch bekannt für ihre Milch, aus der Azeitão-Käse traditionell hersgestellt wurde.
Brusca stammt von freilaufenden Schafen. Garantiert Mulesing-frei (Mulesing wird in Portugal nicht betrieben)!
Vollständig in Portugal produziert.
Die Farbtöne A, B, C und BC sind ungefärbt. Wie alle Garne von Retrosaria Rosa Pomar ist auch Brusca ungebleicht und non-superwash!

Brusca by Retroasaria Rosa Pomar is a breed and flock specific yarn. It is made of 50% Saloia and 50% Merino Branco and Merino Preto wool.
Saloia is the native sheep breed to the region of Lisbon and Setúbal. It is well documented since the 19th century as its wool was one of the finest available in the country. Saloia sheep have also become famous for their milk, from which the famous Azeitão cheese was traditionally made.
Brusca is made from the wool of free range sheep. Mulesing is not practised in Portugal.
Grown, scoured, milled and dyed in Portugal.
Shades A, B, C and BC are natural (not dyed). Like all Rosa Pomar yarns, Brusca is non-superwash and not bleached.
