Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy ist ein Tweed Garn in DK Stärke. Die bunten Tweedfasern sind Reste aus der Hedgehog Fibre Garnproduktion: die Fäden, die beim Färben die Stränge zusammen halten, werden abgeschnitten und gesammelt und dann mit der Rohwolle gemischt und neu versponnen. So entsteht ein bunt getupftes, einzigartiges Garn, das auch noch Abfall vermeidet.

Auch das Garn wird zu 37.5% aus recycelter Wolle hergestellt, zusammen mit den 12.5% Garnresten ist es somit zu 50% recycelt. Das Garn ist weich und wollig. Non-superwash!

Hedgehog Fibres Tweedy is a DK non-superwash tweed yarn. The colourful bits are waste yarn that is used to tie up the skeins while dyeing and then collected. The bits are then blended with wool fibre and spun into yarn again. This way, this yarn is not only unique and beautiful but also reduces waste!
On top of the thread waste, part of the wool that is used for making this yarn is recycled, making 50% of the total content recycled. It's soft, yet wooly.
